Please pay attention to the following issues when using WebGateKey:
■ Installation/Uninstallation
- Minimum of 100MB available space on the HDD before installing WebGateKey.
- Please do not plug the Key in the PC before installing the program. If the PC has our company's other products installed or records of installation, the driver program of that product will interfere with the Key and result abnormal operation.
- When installing/uninstalling HardKey product, please close down all software, resident application programs. If they are not closed, the driver program will not be installed or uninstalled completely, which will cause system malfunctioning.
- Please install this product under the account of Administrator or a user who has been given installation authority as Administrator.
- Please do not install the Administrator program and Key distribution program on the PC that has our company's other products installed. Otherwise the malfunction of system or failure of uninstallation will occur. Only the User's program can be installed on such PC.
- To use the product on a standalone local PC or a Network client PC, the terminal PC user must be granted the Administrator authority.
- The Administrator program can be uninstalled only by plugging the Administrator Key in the PC along with the password for generation of Administrator Key. Also, the User Key must be plugged in the PC when uninstall ing an User's program,.
■ Web Logon / B rowser Forced to close down
- The browser required by this product must be Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) version 5.5 or above.
- When the User Key is plugged in the PC but the LED is not on and the Web site can not be logged on, please restart the PC while leaving the User Key plugged in. After restarting, the LED will be on and the Web site can be logged on.
- The screen of automatic logon and all browsers on desktop that are open will be forced to close down upon plugging out the Key.
■ PIN Functions:
- If the PIN function is enabled when distributing the User Key, the user will not be able to disable the PIN function, nor change the content of the PIN that has been already entered.
- The permissible number for error entry of PIN (retry times) can be set when generating the User Key. If the error entries exceed the permissible number, the Key will be locked by the program and can no longer be used.
At that time the user program will display [Key content error]: the Administrator program will display [Key fails to PIN identification]. The Key can be unlocked.
■ About OS
1. After installation, problems that occur due to changes or upgrade of OS in the PC are not covered by the technical support.
2. This product does not support Windows 95, Windows 98 (1 st Edition), Windows NT, Macintosh OS and Linux OS.
■ Others
1. If any other encryption security software or anti-piracy software is installed on the PC, please uninstall these software and drivers prior to installation of this product. Otherwise, the installation and other operations will not be performed properly.
2. Please keep this product properly.
3. Quickly plugging in and out the USB product is often the cause for the malfunction, improper working, or system instability of the PC. Because plugging in and out of this product will require the communication between the OS and the application program, it needs more time than other general USB products. Please wait 20 seconds between inserting and removing of the Key.
■ Disclaimer
Jujo Electronics Co., Ltd. will not be responsible for any direct or indirect cost, business interruption, loss of information, damages, economic costs, etc. that arise from defect or malfunction of the product. ■ Compensation

■ Use of precision instruments
This product contains precision IC instruments, elements and some metals. Special attentions must be paid during operation. (This product can not come into contact with water for a long time and be exposed to vibration and shock, and must be used at ambient temperature between 0 o C to 50 o C.

The Key distributor (administrator) should do the following:
1. Insert the Administrator Key in the PC that has WebGateKey central management program installed, start the central management program.
2. After the Administrator Key is inserted, insert the locked User Key in another USB port (or use a USBHUB).
3. When the screen displays a locked User Key with the “L” symbol, cancel the PIN option.
4. Remove the User Key from the USB port and then insert it again. The screen will display the normal Key with yellow sign.
5. If the PIN is set by the Administrator, click the PIN option and set the PIN number.
6. Plug out the User Key, close down the Administrator program, and make sure the Administrator's program is closed down prior to removing the Administrator Key.
7. Start the user program and insert the User Key to confirm the function has been restored properly. Return the User Key to the user.
